Ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of our parking lot extension project. Pilgrim Lutheran Church has ample parking available  near our south facing Elevator Entrance. The completion of this project enhances the accessibility of the building for all who come to worship or visit.

Throughout the church year our congregation hosts a variety of traditional community events. Pictured above, Pilgrim youth assist in hosting The Santa Lucia Vesper Tea that immediately follows an evening of Lessons and Carols with the Pilgrim Sr. Choir.

Every Wednesday evening during the Lenten season Pilgrim has a Soup Supper with worship service to follow. Everyone from the community is invited to join in this weekly fellowship. There is also a Wed. Lenten service and sack lunch at 12 noon.

Each year in March Pilgrim celebrates our working men and women of the Great Lakes with a Mariner's Sunday Worship service and brunch. The congregation supports Seafarer's ministry. (Above is a detail of one of the stained glass windows that adorn the church.)

There are many charitable volunteer groups within the Pilgrim congregation. Above are various photos of our Thursday Morning Quilters hard at work making quilts gifts for both local and global distribution. A great many hand made quilts are donated each year.

Our Global Mission Committee offers the congregation unique ways of supporting charitable causes both on a local and world-wide basis through creative special offering opportunities. Various items from gently used children's books to bath size bars of soap have been collected and sent to those in need. The above picture was taken as volunteers put together mid-wife kits to aid a global cause. Items for the kits were donated by Pilgrim members.

Pilgrim has hosted a variety of community concerts and events over the years. Above is a picture of Bill Bastian performing for benefit concert at Pilgrim. The proceeds of this concert helped to stock local food pantries at Thanksgiving.

The Pilgrim Church building, with handicap accessibility, is generously shared with the community at large. From UWS International Cooking events to weekly N.A. meetings Pilgrim provides a comfortable, welcoming environment in support of positive fellowship and local worthwhile causes.
